Prior to joining The Edge, my professional experiences include communication campaigns for various non-profits to spread awareness of issues regarding adoption, mentoring, and minority services. I also was marketing manager of the launch team for VitaminWater into regional markets. Already an avid athlete, this kindled my interest in the health and wellness industry. I've enjoyed combining my love of sport with marketing and managment skills at The Edge. On a personal level, I participate in competitive tennis as well as recreational sports such as: soccer, broomball, softball, volleyball, hiking, golfing, and skiing. I live in the western suburbs with my husband, 2 children, and Neopolitan Mastiff, Sir Rolston "Rollie".

Name: Dave Miller Following my love for Hockey I found my way into the fitness industry the same way many athletes do, which is training for my sport. Those opportunities opened up and appreciation for staying fit and feeling good for life. I am currently the Assistant Varsity & Head J.V. Coach for the Bloomington Kennedy Boys Hockey Team and through coaching I have found the love for teaching and I am proud to have coached hockey for the last 11 years. I have found that the athletes I have trained have taught me more about my-self and life and it is my goal to spend my life learning and teaching. I tend to work well with others and have no problem putting my creative side out there. I have enjoyed making 3 independent films including the fan favorite “Pond Hockey: A documentary film”…I am an only child so I have always craved social interactions and thrive on making personal connections with the athletes I train and friends I make. I have also enjoyed running my own hockey equipment design and manufacturing company for the last 6 yrs putting my 7th grade sewing training to the test and with great success The Hockey Lab has 1 patented product called the Evolution Pant and is resistance tool used to correct and develop a good hockey skating stride. I have sold over 300 units and plan a new product release in 2011. I hope to be successful in contributing to the development of athletes of all ages and the sport I love, hockey, as I pursue my goals in releasing the evolution pant and other products in the future. I also enjoy anything outdoors and dream of living on the lake…any lake!
