About Our Team

Sports Performance Director

Nate Michalowski

Nate Michalowski, CSCS

B.S. Winona State University, Exercise Science
Asst. Strength Coach, U of Minn. - Baseball, Hockey, Wrestling, and Men's and Women's Track
Strength & Fitness Manager, St. T's Tennis & Sports

Nate has more than 10 years experience as a strength coach. He designed strength and conditioning programs for athletes and teams of all sports including soccer, fast pitch softball, tennis, football, and basketball at high schools, such as Cotter High School and Winona Senior High, and colleges, such as St. Mary's University in Winona and Winona State University, as well as managing St. T's Tennis & Sports in Winona. He brought his expertise to The EDGE 3 years ago and with his continuous pursuit of knowledge he's elevated and updated our programs to a higher level. Nate and his family are huge Brewers fans and he led a successful college baseball career that was interrupted by injury. That's how he began in the sports training business. He recognized that if he had been a more complete physical athlete he may not have succumbed to a series of injuries that ended his competitive baseball career. This led him to his current training philosophy: the primary focus is performance enhancement and injury prevention through the implementation of The EDGE's strength, speed, and agility programs. Nate's big secret is... he's quite a talented musician!
